This is our first blog post in 2019. In fact, it's our first blog post ever. We'd like to take this opportunity to tell everyone how our project is going so far. In short, we're on track to completing the project on time and bringing this incredible device to the masses.

Our sensor team lead, Rafa Narcisco, is currently implementing the sensor fusion algorithms to ensure that we can get the best accuracy out of our IMUs.

Our mechanical lead Nathan Johnston is hard at work figuring out how we might utilize Bowden cables in our design; this would simplify things greatly because we wouldn't need any springs to provide a counter force for our motors. Isn't that fantastic?

Ryan Smith is in a particularly good mood today. When asked why, he said it was because the electrical system is in the exact state that it needs to be in. He's ordered the parts he needs and with the potential pivot to using servo motors, we might finish the electrical portion of the project sooner than expected.

For those of you familiar with our team, you might be wondering, "what about Chris Gravel... is he doing any work?" The answer is no, he is not doing any work; however, the projects assigned to him are still somehow getting done. The software seems to be writing itself.
